Aaron Terry

Director

Aaron heads up our residential department and is highly experienced in managing a range of projects, from affordable housing developments to conversion of listed buildings. He coordinates a large team of dedicated design and technical staff, ensuring that every project is delivered to high standards. When not working, you can often find Aaron on the golf course.

Aled Roberts

Director

Aled’s experience covers civic, commercial, retail, hotels, and leisure. He has extensive residential experience, including private and affordable housing, and takes a hands-on approach to these projects. He joined the practice in 2004 and was instrumental in setting up our Newport office in 2013. Outside of work, he enjoys a wide range of sports, from rowing to skiing. He is also a member of the Gloucestershire Design Panel.

David Billingham

Director

David joined the practice in 1994 and has led a number of major commercial projects, including racecourses, retail developments, cinemas and casinos. He works closely with our interior design department to create cohesive internal and external refurbishments. David enjoys many sports and can often be found running or cycling.

Elizabeth Thompson

Director

Elizabeth joined Roberts Limbrick in 2010, becoming the Finance Director in 2011. She is a qualified chartered accountant, and her responsibilities include all aspects of the company’s finance as well as human resources. Elizabeth is a fitness fanatic and is a keen road cyclist and mountain biker in her spare time.

Joe Roberts

Director

Joe is passionate about school design, having worked on a range of projects from nursery and primary through to further and higher education. He has great insight into every aspect of design, procurement, and delivery, having worked as lead designer, technical advisor, and lead consultant. Joe is an active member of the Gloucestershire Design Panel and sits on the board of the Gloucestershire Local Enterprise Partnership. He is a keen traveller and sportsman.

Paul Gooderson

Director

Paul joined the practice in 1990 and has been a director since 2003. He has worked on a wide range of projects, now focusing on commercial and healthcare. He has extensive experience of working in hospital environments, overseeing several major projects to install state-of-the-art medical equipment. Outside of work, Paul enjoys walking, gardening, and the occasional round of golf.

Wayne Organ

Director

Wayne’s expertise lies in the commercial and industrial sector, where he has seen countless projects through to completion and built relationships with clients spanning over 30 years. His projects include flagship corporate headquarters, distribution centres, numerous office spaces, and manufacturing facilities. In his spare time, Wayne plays a variety of sports, including cricket and golf, and is an avid supporter of Gloucester Rugby.

Bastin Bloomfield

Divisional Director

Bastin joined Roberts Limbrick in 2011, bringing a wealth of design and technical knowledge across many sectors. He is now a divisional director in the sports and leisure team, leading on many leisure centre designs as well as working with Sport England as part of their consultancy framework. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children and is a keen road cyclist whatever the weather.

Chris Gentle

Divisional Director

Chris leads our team of masterplanners and urban designers and has led many town centre regeneration projects during his career. As well as leading on project proposals, Chris has produced guidance for local authorities, such as the South Oxfordshire Design Guide which sets out processes for developments in the area. Chris is an invited tutor on the Urban Design Masters course at Cardiff University and he sits on the Design Commission for Wales Building for Life Assessment Panel.

Chris Macdonald

Graphics and Visualisation Manager

Chris manages the visualisation team who produce 3D images, flythrough animations and high-quality renders. He liaises with architects across the practice to bring their ideas to life and create visuals to represent the finished project. Chris embraces innovation and new technologies. He is currently tackling the exciting and complex world of virtual reality and he enjoys drone photography.

Magdalena Liberda

BIM Manager

Magdalena qualified as an architect in Wroclaw, Poland, where she worked for a small, private practice gaining experience in residential schemes and urban design. She joined Roberts Limbrick in 2014 and is an important part of our education team. She is passionate about BIM (Building Information Modelling), and champions reliable and consistent use of BIM across the practice in line with industry standards. Outside of work, Magdalena enjoys any kind of design, including interior design, graphic design, and web design.

Mark Jones

Associate Director

Mark joined our Newport team when it was newly established in 2014. His varied background includes residential, education, leisure and healthcare designs, and he has helped implement major equipment installations and new theatres in hospitals. He has a keen interest in the development of BIM (Building Information Modelling) and its use in the practice. Mark enjoys rowing, rugby and cycling, and much of his spare time is spent entertaining his two children.

Nadja Sihvonen

Senior Associate, Interior Design

Nadja joined Roberts Limbrick in 2020 as Senior Interior Designer, bringing with her 14 years of experience in domestic, architectural and commercial interior design. She is a firm believer that any space can be transformed with the right colours, textures, and products. In her free time, she enjoys country walks with her two children, and always has a DIY or creative project on the go.

Nathan McDonald

Associate Director

Nathan’s design and technical experience allows him to lead teams in project delivery while also working closely with clients and contractors to ensure successful completion. Most of his projects are within the healthcare sector, including hospital units, GP surgeries, and care home facilities. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys off-road mountain biking and photography.

Robert Starnes

Associate Director

Robert joined Roberts Limbrick in 2022, bringing with him a wealth of experience across the private, professional, and public sectors. He has led many projects across all RIBA work stages. Robert has a keen eye for detail and ensures that all project information is fully checked and coordinated.

Teresa Hazelwood

Associate Director and Chartered Landscape Architect

Teresa joined Roberts Limbrick in 2022 as our first landscape architect. She brings with her 15 years of experience working in private practice, with extensive knowledge of landscape design and placemaking. Her projects span the sectors of public realm, residential, education, recreation and commercial. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors, taking care of her allotment, and trail running.
