Roberts Limbrick Ltd recognises that its operational activities and services can have an impact on its employees, clients, the wider community and the environment.

In all of our activities, working practices and business relationships we are committed to continual environmental improvement and prevention of pollution through implementation of this policy.

Environmental policy statement

We aim to:-
Minimise our consumption of resources and raw materials
Minimise emissions and reduce energy consumption
Minimise waste from our activities and promote recycling
Purchase from suppliers who share our concern for the environment and whenever possible, purchase and use recyclable products or products from sustainable sources
Meet or exceed all environmental legislation that relates to the Company
Exercise a positive influence with the industry through our awareness raising and behaviour changing activities

We will do this by:-
Complying with and wherever possible, exceeding all relevant environment legislation
Implementing a system to monitor and measure our impact on the environment
Continuing to integrate environmental aims into our business planning process for ongoing improvement
Actively communicating with employees and external contacts on our environmental programme and engaging with them to achieve good environmental practice
Monitoring our progress with periodic reviews and set targets for improvement
Review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals

Equality statement

To create an environment in which individual differences and the contributions of all our staff are recognised and valued.
Every employee is entitled to a working environment that promotes dignity and respect to all. No form of intimidation, bullying or harassment will be tolerated.

Training, development and progression opportunities are available to all staff. Equality in the workplace is good management practice and makes sound business sense. We will review all our employment practices and procedures to ensure fairness. Breaches of our equality and respect policy will be regarded as misconduct and could lead to disciplinary proceedings. The policy will be monitored and reviewed on a regular basis.

Roberts Limbrick Ltd (the company) is committed to eliminating discrimination and encouraging diversity amongst our workforce.

To that end, the purpose of this policy is to provide equality and fairness for all in our employment and not to discriminate on grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race (including ethnic origin, colour, nationality/national origin), religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation (groups with 'protected characteristics' under the Equality Act 2010).

Elizabeth Hitchings, Finance Director, has overall responsibility for the application of this policy and will ensure that equality and respect matters are given equal priority with other business objectives.

This policy is intended to assist the company to put this commitment into practice and compliance with this policy should also ensure that employees do not commit unlawful acts of discrimination.

Successful implementation of this policy requires the active participation of all Roberts Limbrick Ltd.’s clients, employees, subcontractors, suppliers and contractors, whether permanent or temporary.

The organisation and systems for implementation are set out in Equality and Respect Policy 05.

Health & safety statement

Roberts Limbrick Ltd intends that its operations will be carried out to the highest industry standards and will:-

Provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities.
Consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety.
Provide and maintain safe plant and equipment; to ensure safe handling and use of substances.
Provide information, instruction and supervision for employees
Ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training; to prevent accident and cases of work-related ill health to maintain safe and healthy working conditions.
Review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.

Wayne Organ, Director, will ensure that Health and Safety matters are given equal priority with other business objectives.

Successful implementation of this policy requires the active participation of all Roberts Limbrick Ltd.'s employees and subcontractors.  The organisation and systems for implementing this policy are set in full in the company Health and Safety Manual and can be provided upon request.
